Teen Parent Mentor Program

The YWCA Teen Parent Mentor Program serves pregnant and parenting mothers ages 19 and younger. Funding from W2W will allow participants in the program the opportunity to learn about health and social factors that affect their families, including the value of education, nutrition, prenatal care, positive parenting, breastfeeding, and job readiness skills, while also receiving individual and peer group support. The information and support offered helps moms deliver healthy babies, raise school- ready children, and postpone subsequent births to beyond adolescence.
