Act Together Crisis Care Emergency Shelter


Women 2 Women grants $30k to Youth Focus, Inc. for its Act Together shelter, the only emergency shelter for youth in Guilford County that provides housing for youth ages 11-17 who need safe shelter for a wide variety of reasons mostly tied to instability in the home. Youth can stay up to 90 days. The shelter serves 110 youth and includes provision of all basic needs, coordinated case management, educational services, essential mental and physical healthcare services, and linkage of families to community resources.
